Get your ingredients together.
- 4 cups whipping cream
- 1-pint Maryland Blue Crab Express Oysters
- 1 TBS unsalted butter
- ½ cup chopped mushrooms
- ½ cup celery
- 1 ½ tsp. Old Bay
- 1 tbs. freshly squeezed lemon juice
Get that kitchen busy!
Set the timer for 10-minutes and ready, set, go! Step 1-With medium heat, simmer cream and oyster juice in a pan. Step 2-Sautee butter, mushrooms, oysters, celery salt and Old Bay for about 5 minutes. Step 3-For a minute, puree both pan ingredients in a blender until smooth. Step 4-Pour soup in a pot and simmer on low for 3 minutes as you add the lemon juice. Step 5-Let cool a bit for 1 minute and then ladle into bowls. Enjoy oyster soup on the go!
